Our Story

Hi my name is Nazeeh H. I am the executive chef of the Promise Land Cafe and the owner .That tells you every dish come out of kitchen is cooked by me . You will have  a Chef cooking for you with 35 years of experience in the finest hotels and restaurant in the world from France, Dubai, Bethlehem and United States. Every  dish on my menu is Created from the highest quality ingredients and it is so delicious come to my Cafe and give me the opportunity to impress you.

We specialize of fresh lamb, fresh sea food,  and of Couse  gourmet  vegetarian vegan dishes.

Notes : the majority of our menu is gluten free .


We were drawn in by the torches lining the street and the charming owners. The atmosphere and setting were excellent. My boyfriend and I loved the relaxed dining in the setting of Middle Eastern finery. The food was delicious.  The Northeast is lucky to have this new Mediterranean/middle eastern restaurant

This restaurant just opened in the last week or two. It is an upscale place, without feeling stuffy or pretentious. Before our meals came, we had warm pita with olive oil and a mix of spices to dip it in (I could not identify all of them, but I did recognize Oregano). Our waitress explained that the spices were traditional in her homeland and were used to detoxify the body and improve blood flow. I liked that she took the time to give us those extra details.  I had the lamb with saffron rice and steamed veggies. My friend chose to have the lamb also, but with a different sauce than me. Everything was very tasty. The lamb melted in my mouth, and the steamed carrots were amazingly sweet and cooked to perfection. They serve beer, wine and some cocktails. Unfortunately, we were too full to try dessert, so the baklava review will have to wait until my next visit. The service was attentive without being pushy. I really liked that the chef himself took the time to bring our meal to the table. We were both impressed with the food and atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the fact that this restaurant is right on Martin Luther King Blvd and in a strip of other retail establishments. This is not a gyro place. You will see some common Mediterranean dishes such as shish kabobs and grape leaves, but I would encourage you to branch out and try something a little different. I am so glad this restaurant has moved into my neighborhood. I will definitely be back!

The food was unbelievable excellent they use gold plated silverware gold plated plates crystal chandeliers all over the place and on the top of that the first week of October half price all their dinners cause they open yesterday trust me the minute you come in this place you going to be eating there all the time
